Terms of Service

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of RockTerm, a product of Rock River Research, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using RockTerm, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using RockTerm, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the software.

License

RockTerm is licensed, not sold. A one-time purchase through the Microsoft Store grants you a license to use RockTerm for personal or commercial purposes on devices associated with your Microsoft account, in accordance with the Microsoft Store's terms of use. You may not sublicense, lease, or transfer your license except as permitted by Microsoft Store policies.

AI Features

RockTerm includes AI-assisted features that are provided on an "as-is" basis. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any actions, commands, or configurations suggested by AI features before executing them. Do not rely on AI output for critical infrastructure changes without independent verification. Rock River Research makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of AI-generated content.

Prohibited Use

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of RockTerm. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software. You may not use the software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Disclaimer of Warranties

RockTerm is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Rock River Research does not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rock River Research, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use RockTerm. This includes, but is not limited to, damages arising from data loss, system downtime, misconfigurations resulting from AI-suggested actions, or any reliance on AI-generated output.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
