RockSolid Money is organized like a professional desktop tool: navigation on the left, one workspace at a time in the middle, and details about whatever you select on the right.
The navigation rail
The left rail groups the product the way you think about money: Home (Overview), Money (Accounts, All Transactions, Bills & Income), Plan (Budget, Cash Flow, Goals), Invest (Portfolio, Crypto), Analyze (Reports, Net Worth), and Data (Import History).
- Collapse it with the « button for an icons-only rail; expand with ». The rail has two fixed widths — it is not a drag-to-resize splitter.
- Beneath the navigation, the Accounts pane lists your accounts with live balances, grouped (Cash & Banking, Credit Cards, Investments, Crypto, Property, Loans). Double-click an account to open its register.
The command bar
Across the top: the file selector (your household name — rename, switch profiles, back up from its menu), search, backup status, Import, and + New — whose default action follows the screen you're on.
The Inspector
Select nearly anything — a transaction, an account, a holding, a bill, a goal, a tax lot — and the right-hand Inspector shows its details: dates, amounts, category, source, and actions like View Import Evidence. Toggle it from View > Inspector.
Search
Ctrl+F (or Ctrl+K) opens global search across transactions, accounts, and more.
The user guide
Press F1 anywhere for the built-in user guide.
Display options
View > Theme switches Dark / Light / System. View > Bold Mode makes every label larger and bolder — see Display and Readability.
