Brokerage and retirement accounts import their activity (buys, sells, dividends, interest) like any other account, and the Portfolio workspace unifies everything you hold — securities and crypto — in one place: overview, holdings, activity, income, allocation, and tax lots.
Holdings
Each holding shows quantity, price, value, cost basis, and unrealized gain. Stocks, ETFs, bonds, mutual funds, money-market sweep funds (valued at their $1.00 NAV), and options (valued with the contract multiplier — two calls at $13.74 are $2,748, not $27.48) are all handled.
“Unpriced” is never $0.00
RockSolid Money has no live price feed — it works entirely from your data. A holding with no price on record shows the word unpriced, never a fabricated zero, and portfolio totals say plainly when they exclude unpriced holdings. A zero that looks complete but isn't would be a lie about your money.
Entering prices
Open an investment account's holdings view and type current prices directly into the Price column (double-click to edit). Values, gains, the portfolio overview, and net worth all update from what you enter. Prices you record are dated — a price entered today never rewrites what a snapshot said last January.
The Portfolio overview
The overview headlines portfolio value with its change over time, unrealized gain against cost basis, income year-to-date, a value trend chart built from your recorded net-worth snapshots, allocation between securities and crypto, top holdings, and a status card that names anything unpriced or missing cost basis.
