What Latency Monitor Does

Latency Monitor continuously pings your gateway and/or an internet target, charting latency and packet loss over time. It is designed for catching intermittent issues that a one-time connectivity test would miss — the kind of problems users describe as "the internet is slow sometimes."

When to Use It

How to Use It

  1. Open Latency Monitor from the sidebar.
  2. Choose your target: Gateway (tests LAN health) and/or an internet host (tests end-to-end connectivity).
  3. Click Start — the chart begins plotting latency in real time.
  4. Let it run for minutes or hours — the longer the session, the more data you collect and the more likely you are to catch intermittent issues.
