The Register and All Transactions

RockSolid Money™ Support

Each account has a register; Money > All Transactions shows every account's activity in one place. Both are built for scanning money quickly: dates, payees, and amounts in aligned columns, with a running balance in the per-account view.

Columns

Status (reconciliation), Date, Payee/Description, Category, Payment, Deposit, and Balance — plus optional Memo, Check #, and Tags columns (right-click the header to choose columns; widths and choices are remembered).

Editing in place

Category and memo are editable directly in the register — double-click the cell. Everything a bank stated (dates, amounts, descriptions) is deliberately read-only in the table: the ledger records what happened; your annotations are the editable layer. Richer edits go through the Inspector.

Filters and search

Filter the register by date range and category; Ctrl+F searches globally. The Statements tab on each account is where reconciliation lives.

Copying data out

Select rows and press Ctrl+C — they paste cleanly into a spreadsheet. Reports also export CSV/JSON (see Reports).

Where the row came from

Select any transaction and the Inspector shows its full detail — and for imported rows, View Import Evidence opens the exact source line the bank wrote (see Import Evidence).
